Why isn't there ever enough space to be
who we more or less tried to see
If there would be a place with a smile for a day
there would always be someone who needed to say
That a smile is no better then sun or the rain
That there is much to loose but little to gain
There is never a person big enough to be
just plain and simple happy for me
And we cry and we fight
for the change that we might
make another day smile
and after a while
There will be space enough left to be
more or less good, when it's just you and me
And the sin for the sun
when the night had begun
Would be little then nothing
a change left to do sing
And worlds in the end, while the night kisses your cheek
Will never show it's true meaning, but it will give us a peek
And so far there will be a room with a view
Big enough to live in, so dear, it will do.
Jip
